Using and browsing the galleries:
When you visit the gallery page, you will
see the latest images and, at the bottom, a special browser system. You
can select as many media, styles, or subjects as you like (though if you
select 'All' on any of them the others selected in that box will be
ignored). Note that on the 'Media' selector box, there's one called 'Mixed
Media' and that this is not a checkbox you can set in your image edit page.
This is a special setting that finds things in more than one media (but
excepting WIP, Product Showcase, and Beginner from counting towards
this).
Also note the Search box. This may be used in combination with the media,
style and subject selectors. It takes normal search terms, and uses the
same format of search query as Google, Yahoo!, and eBay&emdash;if you
use a '-' before a term it restricts it from showing up, and if you use
a '+' before it it requires it. Use double-quotes (") to keep terms
together, like "Dungeons & Dragons" or "Peter Pan", for
instance. You can precede quoted things with a '+' or '-' too.
If you want to search everything with the search bar, make sure nothing is
selected in the media, style and subject boxes, or make sure that the 'All'
option for each is selected.
